Laine are looking for a new member to join our busy property team to assist with the growing number of acquisition sites and existing estate refurbishments. The role will involve putting together concept and design drawings for planning, building control and contractor issue to assist with the refurbishment and overhaul of our sites.
Under the guidance of the existing team you will experience a fast paced project development experience across our growing estate of 60 pubs across Brighton, London and Birmingham.
Role & Responsibilities
To work as part of a team to develop concepts and design drawings for pub refurbishments
To produce AutoCAD drawings, from full construction drawings to small architectural details
Assist with site visits
Carry out building measured surveys and produce CAD plans and elevations
Required Skills & Experience
Proficient in the use 2D CAD software
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Ability to prioritise workload and work to tight deadlines
Good understanding of current UK building regulations
Ability to use experience, skill and judgement to solve technical design problems relating to building projects
