MULTI SITE GENERAL MANAGER

The Clifden, formerly the Lord Clifden, is a hidden gem located in the heart of the Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham. Known for its cracking craft beer range, huuuge beer garden & DJ nights, The Clifden is the place to spend the weekend, partying away until the early hours and returning on Sunday for the ultimate Roast. Just a stones throw down the road sites the Red Lion, known for its cosy atmosphere, delicious home-made food and sport, the Red Lion is a ‘proper pub’, rich in both heritage and modern art.

We’re looking for an experienced General Manager, looking to step up into the role of Multi-Site Management to lead the ship of both sites and put their own stamp on the pubs in 2022.

A bit about you:

• A well-seasoned hospitality professional with experience in a high-volume or multisite position

• Strong work ethic – ‘hands on’ with a proactive nature

• Organised with great time-management – being able to effectively split time across both sites and delegate accordingly

• Ability to think ‘outside the box’ – developing a business plan that is creative, exciting but carefully considered and detailed

• Researching, identifying and implementing growth opportunities

• Action planning and problem solving – being able to think on your feet and act quickly

• Experience in managing and reviewing P&Ls

• A ‘people person’ – recruit, train, coach, lead and motivate the teams across both sites, ensuring the pub feels the same whether you’re there or not!

• High Health & Safety knowledge, COSHH, experience of creating risk assessments, running a safe operation, GDPR knowledge and meeting the Licensing objectives

• Knowledge of HR and Employment Law

• Stock Management – delivering an interesting range while maintaining GP’s and yields.

• Social Media savvy
