The Adam & Eve is a historic pub sitting at the edge of greenbelt land in North-West London. We’ve made a name for ourselves serving seasonal, locally sourced modern British food with a traditional pub welcome. Situated over two floors with a charming Victorian walled garden to the rear, the Adam & Eve is a destination for the discerning.
What are we looking for?
A manager with previous experience of food & events. Someone looking to run somewhere that’s the hub of the community with lots to offer!
If you want to be given a step-by-step guide to running a pub, Laine probably isn’t right for you. We’re looking for people who are craving a bit more freedom to let their personality shine, try something they’ve always dreamt of and be proud of their business! Motivation comes with reward, which is why we operate in a slightly different way to usual, our Management Partners receive a % of sales, meaning you will directly benefit from your own successes.
As Management Partner you are responsible for:
Running the day to day of the business and driving sales
Marketing your business and all social media
Managing stock and controlling wet & dry GP’s
Recruiting, training and developing your team to achieve their personal best
Running your own books and payroll
Other than a love of the hospitality industry, you must:
Have leadership and management experience
A proven track record of driving and growing sales within a business
Be entrepreneurial and business savvy
Thrive under pressure – hospitality is a fast paced ever changing industry
Have great delegation skills – running a pub is hard and you can’t do everything yourself!
Be confident in training and developing a team to help you achieve your goals
Have knowledge of health & safety, licensing and employment laws
Be able to work in a partnership – embracing the freedom, but also listening to advice & feedback
