About Laine

Chances are, if you love great pubs, then you’ve probably been to a Laine one. (ok, maybe not, considering what’s been going on for the last 12 months!) But that aside, we’re lucky enough to run 60 exciting venues around Brighton, London and Birmingham that are all different. That’s right, no Laine pub is the same. 

We believe every pub needs the basics – great beer, great food, and great service – which is why we brew our own, work with talented head chefs/franchises and look after our teams. However, sometimes you just want a little bit more, which is why we work with our managers to think outside the box and stay one step ahead of the game. If you’re looking for circus shows, comedy, arcades, axe-throwing (yes, really!) – we’ve got it. We encourage creativity.

Why pubs?

Pubs are places that people connect, have fun and unwind. In the last year they’ve become somewhere for people to work, to feel safe and reconnect with some kind of normality. The last year has only highlighted how important the hospitality industry is to so many people, and we want to be there to offer more than just a place to buy a pint, as we have been since 1996.
